Alex Freedland

Chairman & CEO

Alex has over 20 years experience in the high tech industry. Previously, Alex co-founded RSI Group, Inc., one of the world’s principal providers of Receivables Management Software where he assumed the responsibility of EVP and CTO in charge of Product Development and Technical Services. In 1999, RSI Group was acquired by LondonBridge Software, a leading UK Technology firm, now a part of Fair Isaac and Co. Alex’s previous experience includes a wide range of technical and management positions with Tektronix, IBM, ADP, Netscape, and KLA-Tencor. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University in California.

Adrian Ionel

President & COO

Adrian is an entrepreneur with a passion for growing startups into successful businesses. After spending his early years developing and marketing new products at Siemens in Europe, Japan and the US, he traded the comfort of the large enterprise for the creative energy of young companies.

As CEO of eOnline, Inc. Adrian pioneered the delivery of enterprise applications as a service. Acquired in 2004 by ACS (now Xerox) the company grew to $50M in revenues and developed a terrific base of Fortune 1000 customers.

When not at work, Adrian loves distance running in the Bay Area hills and regular yoga practice.

Boris Renski

EVP, Marketing & Alliances

As a board member of several Russia-US focused IT companies, Boris’ international business experience brings much value in bridging the business environments of the two countries.

In the past, Boris served as a VP of Business Development at R&K – one of the largest IT conglomerates in Russia and was a founder and CEO of Selectosa Systems, an IT consulting company with a focus on product development services for Silicon Valley technology start-ups.

Boris joined Mirantis after it acquired Selectosa Systems in the summer of 2006.

Boris Renski holds a BSC in Information Systems and Business Operations from Santa Clara University in California.

Oleg Goldman

VP of PDC Implementation

Oleg brings over 15 years of experience in the high tech industry. For the last ten years, he was in charge of building and integrating high-performance Product Development Centers for the world’s leading technology companies. As Director of Engineering for RSI Group, Oleg built a Russian-based PDC which he continued to manage as a VP of Engineering for London Bridge Software. Later, Oleg was instrumental in overseeing the formation, development and future buyout of the Moscow operation for Cadence Design Systems. He has a Masters Degree from the Minsk State University.

Ilya Elterman

Global Director of Engineering

lya Elterman brings over seven years of software-industry background to his role with Mirantis. For the last three years he has led the establishment of Product Development Centers at the company's Saratov facility, for world-leading technology innovators such as Cisco and Agilent.

During his earlier years, Ilya was an active participant in annual International Collegiate Programming Contests organized by the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). He has won the title of European Champion and has also been awarded two silver medals.

Ilya holds a M.Sc. degree in Physics with honors from Saratov State University, Russia.

Herman Narkaytis

Director of Operations, Russia

Herman Narkaytis spearheads the company's operations in Saratov, Russia, supervising back-office management, client relations, and strategic ODCs (Offshore Development Centers) there. Prior to joining Mirantis in 2006, Herman was instrumental in building Selectosa Systems, a company serving small and medium-sized U.S. businesses with offshore product-development resources.

Herman has over ten years of operations and project management experience. Among his accomplishments are a strategic partnership between Mirantis and Saratov State University that has led to the recruitment and cultivation of significant young talent.

Herman holds a Ph.D. in mathematical modeling and numerical methods from Saratov State Technical University.
