Lens ID Just Leveled‑Up Your Security with Two‑Factor Authentication
)
Today we’re thrilled to announce that Two‑Factor Authentication (2FA) is now available for every Lens ID account. 2FA adds a second, independent check — a time‑based one‑time passcode (OTP) generated on your phone — on top of your password. Even if someone guesses or steals your password, they still can’t get in without that additional code.
Why this matters
Stronger protection against phishing and password reuse. A leaked password by itself is no longer enough for attackers.
Peace of mind across every Lens product. Your Lens ID unlocks the entire Lens ecosystem. Securing it secures everything you use with us.
Industry‑grade security, without the hassle. We designed the setup to take less than 30 seconds and work with an authenticator app you already use — Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Free OTP.
How 2FA works in Lens ID
Turn it on once: Head to Account → Two‑Factor Authentication and flip the switch.
Scan & save: On the next login, use your favorite authenticator app to scan the QR code — or use the manual setup option — to configure the app.
Confirm: Enter the 6‑digit code from the app. Done — 2FA is live!
Future sign‑ins: After you enter your Lens ID password we’ll ask for that 6‑digit code.
Available to everyone, starting now
The feature is rolling out to all Lens ID accounts today — just toggle it on and enjoy the extra layer of protection.
