Mirantis Knowledge Base MCP Server in Limited Preview

Today we are pleased to announce that the Mirantis Knowledge Base MCP Server is available in limited preview. The Mirantis Knowledge Base Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server provides AI agents a full semantic search and knowledge base article lookup for all Mirantis products. Mirantis customers who want to build enterprise AI agents to help with troubleshooting and triage of production issues can leverage this capability to search for production issues across all Mirantis products and all time. AI agents may also retrieve specific KB articles and their full context to assist with deeper analysis.

Here is a complete list of capabilities for the MCP server:

Access to Mirantis Knowledge Base via MCP — Query articles for MKE, MSR, MOSK (OpenStack), and related tools directly from your AI assistant using the Model Context Protocol.
Semantic search across technical articles — Find relevant FAQs, how-tos, solutions, and technical bulletins even when exact keywords don’t match, using AI-powered semantic search.
Retrieve specific KB articles by ID, number, or title search — Get formatted, markdown-ready content for troubleshooting, configuration guides, and best practices.
Real-time access to Mirantis KB articles — Articles sync daily, covering MKE 4, MSR 4, OpenStack deployments, Kubernetes operations, and cloud integrations.
Integration with AI assistants and development workflows — Use the MCP server endpoint to bring Mirantis KB content into Claude, Goose, ChatGPT, or other MCP-compatible tools for faster problem-solving.

This is the first of our initiatives to enable our products to be friendly to agentic workflows in the enterprise. We are currently evaluating the possibility of other MCP server capabilities for our customers that will further enable agentic operations workflows.

This MCP Server is in limited preview, but available to select customers willing to operate in a design partner capacity and provide active feedback so that we can improve its accuracy and value in assisting AI operations agents in their triage process.
