For nearly 20 years I have conquered and seized the day as a recruiter and career coach in technology and finance. I am a communicator, mentor, and leader focused on creating relationships and connecting professionals that can collaborate and learn from one-another. Educated in psychology and human resources, I enjoy learning about how and why people make and process decisions in relation to their careers, skills and personal interests. I love the thrill of the hunt in finding and discovering great talent who not only can help Mirantis grow but also grow themselves by discovering and unleashing the next level to their talents.

My first degree was in medicine. I was always interested in different aspects of human behavior, psychology and relationship. That’s why I was looking for the opportunity to work with people and learn more about HR management. After completing an MBA course, I came to Mirantis. This was in 2009. I can say I stood at the origins of the company and was able to make a huge contribution to its corporate culture and HR processes. We used to have less than 50 employees when I started and now we are a global company with nearly 10 offices across the globe. I am really excited to see how Mirantis believe that we are only in the beginning of the great and exciting path.

I am also a business and emotional intellect trainer, a certified coach. I really enjoy organizing company-wide trainings and retrospective sessions for our teams, help employees find solutions and look at the challenges from a different angle.

Candidate Advice:

Be yourself and take it as a game.

I’ve been living in Kharkiv, Ukraine all my life. I have two degrees in history and psychology, but I’ve never worked as a teacher or a psychologist. My conscious career has started at international recruitment agency, where I used to work for almost 6 years. The agency specialized in executives search and headhunting of C-level roles, top talent and rare specialists mostly for international companies. It was great time, I felt as a detective, FBI agent and spy at the same time. But then I realized I wished to change the gears and try myself as an in-house recruiter. So I joined Mirantis in 2013 as a Senior Technical Recruiter in the time of its aggressive growth and expansion. Tremendous efforts to succeed in these extremely competitive markets gained me profound knowledge of Ukranian and Russian IT landscapes and helped in obtaining strong expertise of the target candidates. In 2017 I left Mirantis and joined french Drupal company as an HR Director, but in a year I was happy to come back. Now I’m a part of Talent Acquisition team and combine recruitment with some of HR functions.

My family is the greatest meaning of my life. I have a 10 year old daughter, she has been doing professional swimming all her life. I hope one day she will become an Olympic champion.

My other passion is traveling and discovering of the world. I’m also a fan of rock music and good literature.

Candidate Advice:

One day Haruki Murakami said: “Your work should always be an act of love, never a marriage on convenience”, I can’t agree more. Life is too short to work on something without passion and love.

I love traveling and experiencing different cultures as it’s like learning in real life. On the other hand, I also love to spend my time to explore and experiment with the world of synthesizers (recently using Model D) and creating a new sound from the scratch on my Korg Minilogue.

I have been in HR and recruitment journey for nearly ten years. Worked as external headhunter for consulting companies on my early career days and then transitioned into internal full stack Tech Recruiter, acting as a recruitment business partner for Tech and Dev Teams. Always connected with the IT community and fast moving tech organization.
