Mirantis Container Cloud 2.13 Delivers Enhanced Ease of Use

Sergey Goncharov - November 1, 2021 - , ,

Frictionless and intelligent deployment practices across any footprint are a vital part of Mirantis Container Cloud. This release contains a number of enhancements to Mirantis Container Cloud to make initial deployment and ongoing operations easier.

In version 2.13 of Mirantis Container Cloud we introduce the following features:

  • Enhancements in Bare Metal Provisioning – Bare metal deployments are a highly desired option among Mirantis’ customers today for delivering innovation and uplifting operational efficiency within their infrastructure. With this release, we have added a number of Day 0 and Day 2 features which are key to the successful deployment in bare metal environments:
    • Custom naming convention
    • Improved L3 networking
    • Expansion of OS image choice for Ceph and Rook for software-defined storage
  • Improved and Individualized Alerting – In order to get the most from your IT infrastructure, you need visibility into its complex workings. With this latest release, we have added support for Individualized Alerting in the StackLight OSS toolchain. These alerts can be used to increase control and visibility of the environment as well as processes within the multi-cloud deployment.
  • Day-2 Operational Improvements for User Administration in Mirantis Container Cloud UI and API – This release delivers the ability to add users and modify permissions via both the user interface and the programmatic API.
