Recently, our HR team asked managers across the company to nominate candidates for our Outstanding Employee awards who not only embody Mirantis’ core values but also produce outstanding results for our business.
Below is some background information on one of our recent award winners, Commercial Account Executive Colin Devlin. We’ve also included a brief response from Colin himself, discussing his experiences as a member of the Sales team.
Colin is approaching his second full year on the Mirantis Sales team as a Commercial Account Executive, and has been a part of sales organizations within the technology space for nearly a decade. Since joining Mirantis, he has been particularly effective in closing net new logos as well as working to expand business at existing accounts.
According to his manager, he is a “real MVP” of the Mirantis Sales organization, employing “continued focus and creativity in identifying and closing out net new logos.” Colin was able to achieve great success by prioritizing multi-year commitments from customers, and proactively contacting the real decision-makers at accounts. For example, he recently booked a meeting with a C-level executive that successfully converted into a six-figure deal.
Besides achieving impressive performance metrics, Colin also shows great commitment to the Mirantis team. Colin is appreciated for his willingness to support and coach new hires across the U.S. within the Commercial Sales teams. Additionally, Colin has worked to enable Mirantis’ channel partners, training new partners on Mirantis and our offerings.
