Below is some background information on our latest award winner, Customer Success & Renewals Specialist Mark Rooney. We’ve also included a brief response from Mark himself, discussing his experiences as a member of the Customer Success team.
Mark has been with Mirantis since the beginning of this year as a Customer Success & Renewals Specialist. He has been in the field of Customer Success for 6+ years, mostly in the computer software industry. Since joining the Customer Success team, Mark has excelled at building better business relationships with our install base, driving expansion within existing accounts that are currently using Mirantis solutions.
Mark owns nearly 100 accounts, engaging over half of them on a regular basis last quarter. His drive led him to close an impressive amount of expansion opportunities. Mark did exceptionally well tapping into accounts where Mirantis had previously struggled to gain access, which increased the CSO team’s overall expansion numbers significantly. Moreover, Mark accomplished a majority of this expansion business via cold calling and constant outreach with upwards of 1,000 logged activities!
Mark’s approach to expansions and renewals truly exemplifies “customer-centricity”, a guiding principle of the Customer Success team. His relationship-building and tenacity make him a real asset, and his results speak for themselves. Mark has made himself an invaluable member of the Customer Success team, improving the relationships necessary to keep our customers satisfied.
