Mirantis-led Sessions:
During this informative session on Thursday October 27, at 11:55am - 12:30 p.m. EDT, Senior Engineers Jussi Nummelin from Mirantis and Rastislav Szabo from Kubermatic will explore whether it’s possible for the control plane to be located in a different datacenter than the associated worker nodes, even when there’s network-level disconnection separating the control and worker planes. They’ll introduce the technical concepts that can make this happen and look at how the API server can be set up to use an egress selector proxy for different use cases. They’ll also show you a practical example and how it all works together in open source Kubernetes platforms.
Join Amar Kapadia, Software Engineer at Aarna Networks and Christian Huebner, Principal Architect Mirantis as they introduce a new type of private network built using 5G technology – one that delivers numerous benefits over existing wired and wireless networks. They’ll demonstrate how private 5G networks can be built using cloud native functions that are orchestrated by Kubernetes, instead of purpose-built appliances.
Mixer at Anchor Bar in Detroit: After your long day at the conference, it’s time to blow off some steam. Don’t miss the Mirantis-Sysdig Mixer at Anchor Bar, Wednesday October 26, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Enjoy food and drinks on Mirantis & Sysdig, and learn how we’re teaming up to provide enterprises a more secure, faster, and easier way to build and run hundreds of applications
