Ericsson Cloud SDN
The Ericsson Cloud SDN plugin for Fuel provides enhanced Network Virtualization functionalities to Mirantis OpenStack. Ericsson Cloud SDN is built on OpenDaylight and guarantees the dynamics and innovation of a truly open ecosystem. The solution delivers high forwarding performance and supports open and industry standard, virtual and physical dataplane integration leveraging Open vSwitch innovation. Ericsson Cloud SDN is addressing critical workload demands such as Telco NFV deployment and Hyperscale data center.
The Ericsson Cloud SDN is deployed via three plugins: a Controller plugin (installs OpenDaylight), a Switch plugin (installs a modified OVS), and an SR-IOV plugin (configures NICs to support SR-IOV). See popdown menu for downloadable assets.
