Mirantis Partners with Arrow in UK and Ireland

OpenStack cloud technology company broadens access, distributing commercial-grade open-source cloud offerings in European market

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – (Sept. 9, 2014) – Mirantis, the pure-play OpenStack company, today announced a new distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics, Inc. Arrow will distribute Mirantis OpenStack and Mirantis OpenStack Express to its broad community of solution providers in the UK and Ireland.

The agreement with Arrow follows the debut of Mirantis’ office in France and European headquarters in Amsterdam.

Mirantis’ agreement with Arrow will extend Mirantis’ leadership position in the OpenStack community. The company currently holds the largest OpenStack-related deal on record: a five-year software licensing deal with Ericsson, the world leader in the 2G/3G/4G mobile network infrastructure market. It is also the largest provider of OpenStack products and services for the telecommunications industry, serving Orange, Pacnet and Huawei.
